Four (4) months in and it was the first time I experienced a moment of “Woah. I’m in New Zealand”
It was just before I was going to sleep.
I looked outside the window, and I saw a star in the dead of the night. I thought to myself “Look at the star. That’s a star in the sky. That’s a star in the sky in New Zealand”
And I felt a strange nudge in my heart. A slight realization of, do you know where you are?
You’re in New Zealand.
A drip of this fantastic, amazing moment of my life seeped in.
It absorbed into my body, and made me realize that…..I’m here.
